Black Sea is a big central sea located in the southeastern boundary of Europe. It is surrounded by Ukraine to the north, Russia to the northeast, Georgia to the east, Turkey to the south and Bulgaria and Romania to the west. The approximately oval-shaped Black Sea surrounds a gigantic basin located on the southern boundary of Europe but is linked to the reserved waters of the Atlantic Ocean by the Bosporus (which begins from the southwestern edge of the sea), the Sea of Marmara, the Dardanelles, the Aegean Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. The Crimean Peninsula juts into the Black Sea from the north and precisely to its east, the straitened Kerch Strait connects the sea to the smaller Sea of Azov. The Black Sea seashore is else quite regular. The widest east-west area of the sea is 730 miles (1,175 kilometres) and the quickest way between the point of Crimea and Cape Kerempe to the south is about 160 miles (260 kilometres). The effective area, except the Sea of Marmara but consists of the Sea of Azov, is about 178,000 square miles (461,000 square kilometres). The highest volume of water above 7,250 feet (2,210 metres) is extended in the south-central quarter of the sea. The seashore of the Black Sea is uniquely concave, excluding the northern and northwestern beaches which are low and plaited by various canyons, basins, rivers, the mouths which are sometimes obstructed by sandy shoals. The pinnacles of southern Crimea create the only towering cliff regions. The influence of the Greater and Leaser Caucasus diversities, separated by the Kolkhida grassland, encloses the Black Sea in the east, while the Pontic Mountains extend from the southern coast. Near the Bosporus mouth, the coastline is reef-like though it is still perpendicular. Beyond north, in the Burgaski Bay region, hills emerge where the Bulkan Mountains of Bulgaria expands towards the east. The Black Sea is habitat to broad categories of aquatic communities and species. These flora and fauna in the Black Sea create a complex food hierarchy. Aquatic flora, influenced by seaweed provide the main source of food for the oceans and are the main producers of food. Seaweeds offer foods to the tiny herbivorous animals prevailing in the plankton, the primary consumers. Fishes are sources of food to big fishes, humans, aquatic mammals and birds. Across the food chain, the energy moves from one level on the next is between 10% and 20% of the authentic, so the interference of even level can lead to significant effects on the entire system. There are around 180 species of fish, a fifth of them of economic significance. Khamsa, sprat, horse mackarel and others such as the picked dogfish, a variety of small shark found in the Black Sea. The Black Sea is critical year-round major course, connecting the Eastern European countries with world merchandise. Odessa, the true Ukrainian city, along with the close port of Illichivsk consider for the cargo turnover of the sea. The dock of Novorossiysk and, to smaller scale, Tuapse and Batumi in the east focus on petroleum.
